Norman E. Robey Sr., 78, Retired from Sun Ship maintenance department
Norman E. Robey Sr., 78, of Collingdale, a former employee of Sun Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co., died Jan. 16 at Taylor Hospital.[1]

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Robey lived in Collingdale for two years. He was employed for more than 25 years in the maintenance department at Sun Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co., Chester, retiring in 1982.
Mr. Robey was the widower of Margaret E. Hinkle Robey, who died in November, and the father of the late Norman E. Robey Jr., who died in 1994. He was the son of the late Walter Robey and Margaret Fowler.
Survivors: Daughter, Sheryl Lynn Holcombe of Sharon Hill; son, Walter Fowler Robey of Ridley Park; seven grandchildren.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday at James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave., Morton.
Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial: Mount Moriah Cemetery, Philadelphia.
